As an International College, Queen Ethelburga's encourages students of all denominations to explore and develop their faith in an atmosphere of tolerance and understanding.

The school chapel is a place of peace and calm, dedicated for the worship of all faiths, and our own Chaplain holds a regular Christian service. Our Roman Catholic students attend mass locally.

We celebrate larger services in Ripon Cathedral and York Minster. The Dean of York was a founding governor of the College at the time it became established on its new site on the Thorpe Underwood Estate. Each year a group of QE students choose to be Confirmed in our own private Church service.
