Exit:
Most, who want to go to university, go to the university of their choice - these tend to be Edinburgh, Durham, Liverpool, London and Nottingham, with steady four or five a year to Oxbridge.
Money Matters:
Provost Brian Martin FCMI, FFA, FinstD, Executive Trustee of the QEC Charitable Foundation hasn’t lost his Midas touch, The school is well underpinned financially. Masses of scholarships, oodles of awards, 30 per cent corporate body awards (boarding fees only) rebate if you move to QE from another independent school; 20 per cent discount for Services, diplomats and professional bodies. Sports, art and music scholarships plus a discount for the first year for boys entering the senior school and many many more - including a Karen Dixon scholarship for equestrians. The lowest day fees in the region - this is quite amazing when you see the first class standard of the facilities and the record of superb academic success. Lots of awards and scholarships which include free 'Blue' livery and free BHSAI tuition.

Remarks:
This is a mind-boggling, truly impressive, transmogrification from a moribund institution to something that puts it amongst the "good and the great" independent schools in the UK. Gentle and not aggressively academic (but still hugely academically successful) or street-wise, this is a nurturing school which, in view of the amount of investment, is as good as it looks. Both boarding and boys have increased in droves, particularly at the top end of the school. This school gives real aspirations to all who become part of its life.
Extract from 6th Form Leavers Letter
The time has come for you to leave the Sixth Form at QE and go out into the wider world. All of the Governors and staff of the Collegiate take this opportunity to wish you the very best for your future. As you progress, you will no doubt find that the different people and situations you encounter mean you need to make decisions. These decisions can affect your career, financial circumstances, health, relationships and the overall path in life that you follow. Make your own decisions. Do not be led by others to make a decision that you know is wrong however easy or tempting it may appear. Inevitably there may be times when choices or circumstances become confused or you end up in trouble, make a mistake that is not easily correctable or do, or get involved in, something downright foolish.
At those times I hope you will turn to family and friends for help, support or advice. If for any reason this is not possible the Collegiate is willing, from now until you leave University, higher education or until your 21st birthday, whichever is the later, to accept a reverse charge phone call from you, at any time of the night or day, from anywhere in the world. We are also willing to provide the services of our Collegiate Solicitors for advice on any legal matter, at no cost.
It does not matter what the problem is. It does not matter how horrendous things may seem. I, my staff, my business colleagues or friends and associates from all walks of life, will without fail, help you. You may be surprised at just what we can achieve quickly and discreetly if the need arises. The next few years of your life are important ones. Remember if all else fails we are here. We will not be shocked, upset, disappointed or angry - and we WILL help. I give below telephone numbers that will reach me or my trusted close colleagues, 24 hours a day, 365 days a year, wherever we may be. Please do come back and see us. Good luck and may your God go with you.
Brian Martin
