Growth in Numbers

As the three charts show, our total pupil role has consistently grown over the years.

  • Heavy investment in resources and facilities has meant our Sixth Form students have enjoyed superb academic success, Sixth Form numbers have grown from an initial 8 in 1990 to 271 in 2008.
  • Support from local parents, coupled with the lowest day fees in the region, have meant day numbers have grown from 78 in Sept 1990 to 300 in Sept 2008.
  • Investment ensuring our boarding facilities are now considered by many as being the best in the UK and Europe, has meant our boarding numbers have grown from 101 in Sept 1990 to 500 in Sept 3008.
