In
the eight decades since its foundation in 1912, Queen Ethelburgas
College has become one of Britain's best known and finest schools,
with an enviable reputation nationally and internationally for care,
friendliness and excellence.
Our capital spending programme finances a campus which
provides facilities of the highest quality. Investments totalling
some £18 million in only the last few years help us to give
our pupils the advantages that can lead to outstanding success,
from Pentium computers to the comfort of knowing that there is a
telephone and voice mail facility in every bedroom in Benedict House
and Abbey Chambers, our living accommodation on the campus.
Each year we continue to extend our resources, which
increasing numbers of parents recognise as giving an unrivalled
opportunity to their children.
We are helped in our endeavours by Queen Ethelburga's
College Charitable Foundation, which financially supports us and
subsidises our fees to be as much as 20% lower than those of other
prestigious schools.
We at Q.E. believe in having a school where every pupil
matters; therefore we are not a large school, and we have no desire
or need to be, yet our facilities are second to none. |
