Karen
Dixon MBE, a member of the Great Britain Olympic Three Day Event
Team in Atlanta, holds the post of Senior Trainer here at Queen
Ethelburga's College.
Karen is one of the world's leading Three Day Event Riders, having
first represented her country at the age of 17, she has gone on
to win medals at all levels. These include a Team Silver at the
Seoul Olympics, Team Gold and individual bronze at the World Championships
in Holland and Horse and Hound Personality of the Year. Some of
the well-known horses Karen has ridden include Too Smart, Get
Sharpe, Hot Property and of course, Get Smart. Karen's equestrian
achievements have kept her in the top 10 world rankings for the
past 10 years
Karen
will be teaching at the College for up to 6 hours, one day per
week during term time, and is happy to teach riders at all levels
in Dressage, Show Jumping and Cross Country.

Dixon lessons, pupils should first obtain written permission
from parents, and then see the Equestrian Office, who will confirm
the date and time of bookings and the type of lesson required.
Lessons are booked for a full term, and
a term's notice is required to cease the lessons.
