AM I A NAME OR A NUMBER?

Sixth FormSome schools or Sixth Form Colleges are so large that it is not surprising that you become just another body walking around the place. We are not large, we have no need to be, neither do we want to be. The College Sixth Form will normally be home for approximately eighty students. Elsewhere on the Campus there are about another 260 pupils. As you can see we are able to treat you as an individual. This also means that our superb facilities and resources are available to all.

HOW DO MY PARENTS FIND OUT HOW I AM DOING?
Each term there is a written report. There are ample opportunities regularly throughout the term for you to discuss with the staff your progress and to sort out any problems with your work. There are parents meetings throughout the year when parents have the opportunity to meet staff and generally discuss any matters they wish. Class sizes are small - often about 8 students. Our ratio of staff to students is well above that found in many other educational establishments. This allows you to receive the personal attention that often is the difference between success and failure.
