WHAT ELSE CAN YOU DO FOR ME?

The whole point of The Collegiate Sixth Form Faculty is to give you proper, professionally accredited qualifications, as an alternative to A-Levels which means you can have a decent career and / or that will get you into University or Further Education. But that is 90% of what you need. There is more... You need to be confident, well turned out, know how to speak well and generally have that "polish" that you see when you look at successful young people. We can help you achieve all these things in the two years you would be with us. We have a beautiful Wedgwood Dining Room which we use for "Black Tie" Dinners. You will be faced with silver cutlery stretching out left and right, a whole range of glasses, beautiful crested napkins, all manner of things on the oak tables, several different courses of food, and waiters offering you Champagne on arrival, white wine, red wine, port or brandy. There will be an entertaining after-dinner speaker. Even those who have attended formal Dinner Parties can be a little intimidated by it all. However we talk you through it all. Your aim is to enjoy the evening, turn up suitably dressed, work out what you should be using and when, not to drink too much alcohol and learn how to mix and relax. As they say "It isn't difficult once you know how." We offer the Duke of Edinburgh's Award Scheme. The Award certainly goes down well with the larger employers. Or perhaps you may choose to take part in one of our voluntary Debating Competitions. Sport is not compulsory but many like it. We have sports facilities galore. A leisure heated indoor swimming pool, floodlit tennis courts, netball / basket ball courts, hockey pitches, fitness studios and a huge gymnasium are but a few.
