In Personal and Social Education pupils will have one lesson per week in Form III and one lesson each alternate week in LIV and UIV. Topics covered in these sessions will help students to understand how to live and work together, how to make informed choices about their own behaviour, learn about the physical and emotional changes that they are going through and basic resuscitation and First Aid. They will also be given opportunities to discuss current problems and events.

Lessons will take place in a variety of ways including whole class and small group discussions, problem solving, research and presentations, role plays and quizzes. Videos and outside speakers will also be used where appropriate.
