Drama is considered an important part of the curriculum. it builds confidence and helps students to present themselves effectively to others. All classes receive one lesson a week.

Most of the work is practical in nature involving scripted and improvised tasks. Projection of the voice and characterisation are emphasised, giving students the ability to communicate effectively and entertainingly with an audience. A wide variety of styles and genres is also investigated leaving much room for imaginative and interesting interpretation. Enjoyment of these lessons helps students to gain assurance and to build up their confidence, essentials for effective self-presentation.
