QE is a Centre for Excellence in Science. These Awards for boarders, regardless of age at entry, continue to be paid until completion of Year 13 so long as the following criteria are met. Key Stage 2 ~ A total of 255% across all 3 subjects with an 87% or more result in Science. Key Stage 3 ~ A total of 255% across all 3 subjects with an 87% or more result in Science. Applicable to Girls & Boys, up to 16 years of proven Sporting ability in at least two different disciplines who have competed successfully at "County" level in at least one sports discipline within the last 12 months achieving a top 3 placement. Pupil would be expected to take part in all required sporting activities. Worth up to £1,800 (Boarding), £600 (Day) per year. Award reviewed yearly for justification.

 Art 2 awards

Applicable to Girls & Boys, up to 16 years of proven Artistic ability. A portfolio of your work should be brought to QE interview. Worth up to £1,155 (Boarding) per year. Award reviewed yearly for justification. If student has gained A Grade in Art GCSE then Award is increased to £1,800 (Boarding).

A discretionary, negotiated, on-going or introductory, payment or commission (or the like) may be made to properly established Educational Agents, recognised by the school, for the introduction or supply of pupil(s). (In cases where the payment of this Agents Award is made, no other remission or Award can be made in respect of that particular individual pupil to them or their family.)
