BICYCLES
The College has a number of mountain bikes of various sizes for use by any boarder.
Pupils below Sixth Form (QE) status are allowed to ride a bike for exercise within the school grounds, subject to sensible safe behaviour. It is recommended that protective headgear should be worn. (We do not provide this).
Sixth Formers (QE) are allowed to ride bicycles out of the school grounds (provided there is a minimum of two pupils). Bicycles brought to school are subject to the following:
A) Parents must give permission in writing, naming the owner and those allowed to ride the bike.
B) Borrowers must have permission from their parents.
C) All bikes must have battery lights, in addition to, or instead of dynamos The College can accept no liability for loss or damage for bicycles brought by pupils. You are therefore advised to provide a bike lock and chain.
