We are close to Leeds/Bradford, Liverpool and Manchester airports. We are five minutes away from the A1M motorway. York main-line railway station is only a 20 minute drive from us.

At the beginning and end of terms and half terms we run an escorted bus service to the airports and stations to ensure Forces children, and our other boarders needing to travel, can do so easily, safely and without fuss.

We no longer have specific "exeat" weekends. Parents are able to let their children have any weekends away from school to enable their children to visit relatives or friends.

We are well organised and things such as the fuel scare blockade in September 2000 caused no worries for us as we held huge reserve stocks of road fuel for our buses. Our transport system, from buses to Land Rovers and cars, continue to operate come rain or shine. We welcome grand parents and relatives to all school functions.
