Queen Ethelburga's was originally established in 1912. For over eight decades we have faithfully served the needs of British Forces parents desiring a high quality, friendly and caring boarding education for children.

Over the years we have changed some things and others remain unaltered. We have invested over £18,000,000 in recent years to ensure our teaching resources are top class. Our boarding standards are the best available in the UK and Europe. No other independent school offers as high a range of boarding facilities as we do.

What has not changed is our understanding of the individual needs of British Forces parents and their children. We are not embarrassed to say this falls in the category of TLC - tender, loving care.
