From bedtime stories to games, from the need for some common sense to some firm persuasion that a bedroom needs tidying up, or for understanding when things are not going well: this helps children settle and enjoy being boarders. Our boarding children know that no other independent school gives them as many home comforts as we do. We
are a small school with superb facilities, a first class academic record
and an ethos that means common sense prevails. In the last ten years
the total number of boarding children in independent schools nationally
has dropped 25%. In this same period our boarding numbers have doubled. |
