Benedict
House and Abbey Chambers, home to pupils who live on
campus, are thought by many to be one of the best examples of high
quality, modern, comfortable school residental accommodation in
Europe.
There is a strong sense of community, much of it finding a focal
point in the farmhouse kitchen and common rooms, all with comprehensive
cooking facilities, which welcome every kind of gathering, from
an impromptu coffee and toast to a "pizza eat in"

We
understand and are responsive to the need for our school to be a
happy and co-operative environment, in order to meet high academic
aims, and our campus provides a wonderful basis upon which our pupils
can build a thriving and fulfilling school life. The house staff
includes a Sanatorium Sister and House Parents, all dedicated to
the welfare of our pupils. All staff have a great deal of experience
and common sense, providing the warm and supportive atmosphere which
has meant, each year, more and more pupils have chosen to live on
campus. A close link is maintained between home and school. Parents
are kept properly advised about their children's well-being. We
believe a high level of care is of paramount importance and many
parents have commented favourably on our attention to detail to
ensure the campus is 'safe'. |
