We accept Childcare vouchers. You can opt to "sacrifice salary" up to a maximum of £243 per month. If both of you work for the MOD, or an employer who operates the scheme, you can both do the same - so twice the amount. This amount is taken off your salary BEFORE your tax and National Insurance contributions are calculated. The money goes into your "Childcare Voucher" account without having any Tax or National Insurance deducted and this is where you make the savings. You can quite easily save, per working parent, up to £1,195 per year. Two working parents, utilising the scheme, can save a whopping £2,390 per year.

The MOD operates this Childcare voucher Scheme and make it very easy to join - you can apply your vouchers to pay for many extra-curricular school activities. For day parents they have to happen after the normal school lesson day and to happen on our campus. So many extra curricular activities - music, riding, dance etc - can all be paid for by Childcare Vouchers.

Even better ~ ALL of the boarding element of your fees, if your child boards, is viewed as "child care" so is applicable. The MOD specifically checked this out with the Inland Revenue. You can pay part of your boarding fees with Childcare Vouchers. All we need to do is know you intend doing this, as we need to give you a bill that specifies the child care element seperately - not difficult at all. With your CEA and this the amount you end up paying towards everything can be quite small - it is well worth doing so act now. You can start saving even though your child may not have started with us yet.

The MOD run their Childcare Voucher scheme through a company called "Sodexho".
